Eden Food Pantry is a project that came out of sheer need for accessible food, regardless of location, or employment. While researching food pantries it became apparent that there is an issue at hand that reaches far past exclusively unemployment and homelessness. People who have jobs also struggle to put dinner on the table for themselves and others, and there needs to be a food pantry that can meet the needs of everyone in need. The clear solution: a mobile food pantry. With mobility the food pantry can travel to serve multiple communities, and also those who have disabilities. This allows for easier accessibility, but also inclusive which is one of the founding values of Eden Food Pantry. The overall design of the mobile pantry and website is to appear warm, welcoming, and approachable. Hand drawn elements, and the mix of sans serif and serif typefaces allowed for this feeling to be displayed front and center.
